The Matte Top Coat is a no-wipe formula. Once it has received its complete cure, there is no inhibition layer that needs to be removed with cleanser.

Apply → Cure for 60 seconds → Finished. No additional cleansing step is required.

Allow the finished surface to cool momentarily after curing before touching the nail or applying cuticle oil.

Soak-Off

The Matte Top Coat is a soak-off gel formula. When used over a complete soak-off service, it can be removed as part of that soak-off system.

When used over a product such as The Builder, follow the maintenance or removal requirements of the underlying enhancement rather than treating the entire service as a soak-off system.

HEMA Free & TPO Free

The Matte Top Coat is formulated HEMA Free and TPO Free, consistent with the Tayla-Made Nail Co gel system.

As with all professional UV/LED gel products, avoid contact with the skin and surrounding tissue and ensure the product receives its complete required cure. HEMA Free and TPO Free doesn't replace responsible gel application.

The Matte Top Coat comes in a professional 15ml bottle. Like The Gloss Top Coat, it is presented in the luxe Tayla-Made matte white bottle with a gold lid, identifying the two finishing products within the core range.

It also features the Tayla-Made curved/rounded precision brush, giving greater control around the cuticle and sidewalls while allowing smooth, even application across the nail.

How to Use

1. Complete your colour or design. Complete and cure your chosen Tayla-Made colour, structure or nail art application as required.
2. Apply The Matte Top Coat. Using the curved/rounded precision brush, apply a thin, even layer of The Matte Top Coat across the entire nail. Pay particular attention to achieving complete and even coverage. Because the finished surface is matte, inconsistencies in application may become more noticeable once cured. Work carefully around the cuticle and sidewalls and avoid contact with the surrounding skin.
3. Check your application. Before curing, look carefully across the entire surface of the nail. Make sure the product has been applied evenly and that no areas have been missed.
4. Cure. Cure for 60 seconds under a compatible UV/LED nail lamp.
5. You're done. The Matte Top Coat is no wipe. No cleanser is required after curing. Allow the finished surface to cool momentarily before touching the nail or applying cuticle oil.

Professional Tips

Matte Shows Everything

A glossy surface reflects light, which can sometimes disguise small inconsistencies. Matte doesn't.

Take the extra few seconds before curing to make sure The Matte Top Coat has been applied smoothly and evenly across the entire nail. Check around the cuticle, down both sidewalls and across the centre of the nail.

Even application = even matte finish.

Use Finish as Part of Your Nail Art

Don't think of The Matte Top Coat as something that simply goes over the whole finished nail. Think of matte itself as a nail art effect.

Combining matte and gloss over the same colour can create subtle designs that only become visible as the light moves across the nail. Black-on-black designs are particularly effective — the colour remains the same while the difference between gloss and matte creates the design.
