The Perfect Gel Polish

System step · colour

Overview

Every nail tech needs a really good black and a really good white. Not one that needs coat after coat to become opaque. Not one that looks streaky. Not one that requires you to reach for a separate Paint Gel every time you want to create nail art.

That's exactly why we created The Perfect Gel Polish. Available in The Perfect Black and The Perfect White, these exceptionally high-pigment gel polishes have been selected to deliver rich, solid colour coverage in one very thin coat.

But they're not just gel polish. Their exceptional pigmentation also allows them to double as a Paint Gel, giving you two professional functions from the same bottle.

Gel Polish + Paint Gel. Two products in one.

Whether you're creating a complete black or white manicure, French tips, fine lines, detailed nail art or bold graphic designs, The Perfect Gel Polish is designed to become one of those salon essentials you reach for again and again.

Key Features

  • 2 in 1 — Professional Gel Polish + Paint Gel in the same bottle.
  • One very thin coat — Exceptional pigmentation delivers rich colour without unnecessary layers.
  • Black + White — Two essential salon shades: The Perfect Black and The Perfect White.
  • Nail art ready — Ideal for French tips, fine lines, detailing, outlining and graphic designs.
  • Less duplication — No separate black and white Paint Gels required for these applications.
  • 60-second cure — Gel polish and Paint Gel applications cure for 60 seconds.

Two Perfect Essentials

The Perfect Black — Deep. Rich. Intensely Black.

The Perfect Black delivers the solid, highly pigmented black every nail tech needs in their collection. Applied correctly in one very thin coat, its intense pigmentation provides rich, opaque coverage without the need to build multiple layers of colour.

Full-colour manicures • French tips • Fine-line work • Nail art • Graphic designs • Detailing • Outlining • Anywhere you need a strong, true black.

From a complete black manicure to the finest nail art detail, The Perfect Black earns its place on the nail desk.

The Perfect White — Clean. Crisp. Perfectly White.

White can be one of the most challenging gel polish colours to get right. The Perfect White has been selected for its high pigmentation and smooth application, delivering a clean, saturated white without needing multiple heavy layers. Its smooth brush-on consistency is designed for even, controlled application.

Full-colour manicures • French tips • Fine-line work • Nail art • Graphic designs • Detailing • Outlining • Anywhere you need a clean, highly pigmented white.

Crisp enough for a full set. Precise enough for nail art.

Gel Polish + Paint Gel

Why Buy Two Products When One Can Do Both?

Both The Perfect Black and The Perfect White are designed first and foremost as highly pigmented gel polishes. But their exceptional pigmentation makes them equally valuable at the nail art table.

Rather than purchasing separate black and white Paint Gels for nail art, you can use The Perfect Gel Polish for both jobs.

  • For a full-colour application, use the Tayla-Made curved/rounded precision brush directly from the bottle.
  • For nail art, simply place a small amount of The Perfect Black or The Perfect White onto a nail art tile or palette and use your chosen nail art brush — liner brush, round brush, detailing brush, whatever your design requires.
One bottle. Two functions. Less duplication on your nail desk.

Why High Pigmentation Matters

Maximum Colour From Minimum Product

Black and white traditionally require strong pigment concentration to achieve truly opaque colour. The Perfect Gel Polish has been selected specifically for its exceptional pigmentation. That means you don't need to compensate for poor coverage by repeatedly adding more coats.

When correctly applied, one very thin coat provides the coverage required.

  • Fewer colour layers
  • Less unnecessary bulk on the nail
  • Faster colour application
  • One colour cure rather than multiple colour cures
  • Less product used per service
  • Clean, opaque colour
  • Particularly effective for nail art

High Pigment = Thin Application

The same pigmentation that gives The Perfect Gel Polish its exceptional one-coat coverage means application thickness is extremely important. More product does not mean better coverage. You already have the pigment you need.

Applying the product too thickly can prevent curing light from adequately penetrating the entire layer of gel. This can result in incomplete curing, wrinkling, bubbling, lifting, peeling, reduced wear and uncured product beneath the surface.

So when we say one coat, we mean: ONE VERY THIN COAT. Not one thick coat. The goal is to allow the exceptional pigmentation to provide the colour while keeping the physical layer of gel thin enough to cure correctly.

Let the pigment provide the coverage — not the thickness of the product.

Don't Chase Coverage With Your Brush

Highly pigmented products should be applied deliberately and efficiently. Apply a controlled, thin layer and avoid repeatedly brushing over the same area once you have achieved even coverage. Overworking gel can create an uneven application rather than improving it.

Thin. Even. Controlled. Cure.

Using It As Paint Gel

The Perfect Black as Paint Gel

Place a small amount of The Perfect Black onto a nail art tile or palette. Using your chosen nail art brush, pick up a small amount of product and create your design. Its intense black pigmentation makes it suitable for fine lines, outlines, detailing and graphic nail art where strong black definition is required. Once your design is complete, cure for 60 seconds and finish with your chosen Tayla-Made top coat.

The Perfect White as Paint Gel

Place a small amount of The Perfect White onto a nail art tile or palette. Using your chosen nail art brush, apply the product to create French tips, fine lines, detailing, graphic designs or other nail art. The highly pigmented white provides strong definition without requiring a separate white Paint Gel. Once your design is complete, cure for 60 seconds and finish with your chosen Tayla-Made top coat.

French Nails

Your Black & White French Essentials

The Perfect White is an obvious choice for creating a classic crisp French tip, while The Perfect Black gives you the same highly pigmented performance for modern black French designs.

Because both products can be used with a nail art brush, you're not restricted to applying them using the bottle brush. Place a small amount onto your palette and use your preferred French or detailing technique.

Whether you're creating a traditional French, micro-French, reverse French or something more creative, the high pigmentation allows you to achieve strong definition using a thin amount of product.

How to Use — Gel Polish Application

  1. Prepare — Complete your natural nail preparation, ensuring all true cuticle and non-living tissue has been removed from the nail plate.
  2. Dehydrate — Apply The Dehydrator to the exposed natural nail plate and allow it to air dry completely.
  3. Bond — Apply a thin layer of The Bonder to the exposed natural nail plate. Allow it a few seconds to air set until it reaches its tacky, ready stage. Do not wipe.
  4. Apply your base or structure — Apply your chosen Tayla-Made base or structural product as required. This may include The Base, The Foundation or The Builder, depending on the service and level of support required. Cure as directed.
  5. Apply The Perfect Gel Polish — Apply one very thin, even coat of The Perfect Black or The Perfect White. Use the Tayla-Made curved/rounded precision brush to carefully control application around the cuticle and sidewalls.
  6. Check your application — Before curing, check that the layer is thin, even, smooth and free from skin contact. Do not add unnecessary product simply because only one coat is being applied.
  7. Cure — Cure for 60 seconds under a compatible UV/LED nail lamp.
  8. Finish — Apply your chosen Tayla-Made top coat and cure for 60 seconds.

Prepare → Dehydrate → Bond → Base/Structure → The Perfect Gel Polish → Top Coat.

How to Use — Paint Gel Application

  1. Prepare your palette — Place a small amount of The Perfect Black or The Perfect White onto a clean nail art tile or palette. You only need a small amount.
  2. Choose your brush — Select the nail art brush appropriate for the design you're creating. This may include a liner brush, detail brush, round brush, French brush or other suitable nail art brush.
  3. Create — Pick up a small amount of product and create your desired nail art. Remember that the formula is highly pigmented, so a small amount can provide strong colour. Keep your application thin, particularly where your design contains larger areas of colour.
  4. Cure — Cure the completed design for 60 seconds under a compatible UV/LED nail lamp.
  5. Finish — Seal the completed design with your chosen Tayla-Made top coat and cure for 60 seconds.

HEMA Free & TPO Free

The Perfect Gel Polish is formulated HEMA Free and TPO Free, consistent with the Tayla-Made Nail Co gel system.

As with all professional gel products, correct application and complete curing remain essential. Avoid contact with the skin and surrounding tissue and always apply highly pigmented gel products in appropriately thin layers.

Professional Tips

Thin Means Thin.

The Perfect Gel Polish doesn't need a thick application to give you strong colour. The pigment is doing the work. If you apply a highly pigmented gel too thickly, the surface may appear cured while the product underneath has not received sufficient light penetration. This can contribute to wrinkling, bubbling, lifting and incomplete curing.

Apply one very thin, controlled coat and cure completely for 60 seconds. More product doesn't create better coverage. The pigmentation already does that for you.

Don't Buy Another Product You Don't Need.

Before reaching for a separate black or white Paint Gel, reach for The Perfect Gel Polish. Place a small amount onto your nail art palette, choose your brush and create. Full colour one minute. Fine-line nail art the next. French tips after that.

One bottle already sitting on your desk can do both jobs.
