Brush care is essential to retaining a perfect brush always. Never clean brushes in BRUSH CLEANER, it is too harsh and strips the hair of their natural oils. Brushes should be cleaned in CLEAN monomer after every use and thoroughly checked to make sure there is no product left in the bristles. Always store your brush pointing downwards OR laying flat on a table. Never store your brush with the bristles facing upwards as monomer will seep into the ferrule, melt the glue, and contaminate your brush. If your brush starts to seep a yellow tinge, it is contaminated.
 
Fluid brushes are glued and clamped to hold bristles in place though you may expect to lose a few while breaking in a new brush.
 
To break in your new brush, allow the bristles to soak in clean monomer for at least 10 – 15 minutes to dissolve the packing gum. Once the gum has dissolved gently train your brush into your desired shape by soaking and wiping on a clean dental bib. Always use dental bibs, not paper towel as paper towel is not lint free and the fibres will be picked up with your brush.
